Fouassier “La Mélodie de Gustave Fouassier”, Loire £90

VERY RARE SANCERRE! Aromas of candied orange, vanilla & spices. Rich, balanced & stretched palate 

thanks to superb acidity. Long, complex & very concentrated. 40 year old vines. Bio-dynamic! Fermentated 

& aged on the lees in French oak barrel for ten months.

 

Auvigue Pouilly Fuissé Vielles Vignes 2020, Mâconnais, Burgundy £95

A blend of 3 plots, from 75 to 80 years of age. After static must settling, juices are transferred into traditional 

French oak barrels for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged on fine lees for 10 months.

& complexity). 500-550 metres above sea level. Reveals varietally pure aromas of white fruit, pear, citrus and 

crushed stone or mineral. Medium to full bodied. Complex and elegant. One of the finest whites and denominations 

of southern Italy.

Pires, 30% Arinto & 30% Sauvignon. Aromas of citrus, honey & tropical fruits (passion fruit). Round, full flavoured palate 

with refreshing finish. 

 

Alba Vega Albariño, Rias Baixas, Spain £42

A classic white wine from Galicia, made from 100% Albariño grapes. “Pear, baked apple, fennel & ginger flavors mingle in

Domaine Laporte Chapel Peak Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough £70

Domaine Laporte have been making outstanding Sauvignon in the Sancerre region since 1850. As one would expect their 

New Zealand wine ventures have resulted in beautiful and elegant offerings The Chapel Peak Sauvignon comes from 

vines planted on Greywacke (New Zealand’s most abundant bedrock found throughout Marlborough’s rivers and alluvial 

vineyard soils). Generously expressive, it unveils grapefruit & passion fruit aromas, ripe pineapple, underlined by a 

grapefruit rind. Fantastic balance; full of finesse. A subtle minerality adds a European dimension (which isn`t surprising 

due to its French lineage).

If you don’t know Montepulciano, it is Italy’s answer to new world wines...big, oaky and rich, with that 

magic Italian food friendly ‘thang’ going on. Aged for 12 months in oak. 

 

Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore, Veneto £59

2019: “93/100. Notes of ripe berries, walnuts, light spices, dried orange rind and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied with 

firm tannins and lively, crunchy fruit character. Ripe and concentrated, yet clean and fresh at the same time. Lingering

Ascheri Barolo DOCG 2020, Piedmont £90

“93/100...a classic playlist of Nebbiolo aromas with redcurrant, iris, rusty nail and licorice...sits well on the palate,

Aster Crianza 2020, Ribera del Duero £69

 “93/100” (James Suckling) “92/100” (Guía Peñin) 100% Tinta del País (local name for Tempranillo) Aged for 16 months 

in new French oak barrels (75%) and the remainder in second-use French oak vessels. Racked three times. Aromas of 

black fruit, blackcurrants and blackberries with sweet spices, fine herbs and liquorice in the background. Powerful.

 

La Rioja Alta Viña Arana Gran Reserva 2016, Rioja Alta, Spain £105

Barbadillo Cream (Sweet) erez, Spain £5

A full, sweet and aromatic sherry. Smooth and very intense on the palate. It is a blend of old dry olorosos and 

sweet Pedro Ximenez; matured in the solera system for seven years. Can be served at room temperature or 

over ice as an aperitif or a classic dessert wine

 

FITZWILLIAM PORT

Graham’s - Founded in 1820 by brothers William and John Graham, Graham’s Port quickly became known as a 

producer of exceptional ports. This success culminated in the building of the Graham’s Lodge in Gaia and the 

acquisition of Quinta dos Malvedos in 1890.
